Description
This is the monster from my first horror graphic novel. I was really nervous at the time of it's creation and you would not believe how many "revamps" I went through. The first was actually somewhat embarassing!
Oh well, I guess that's the nature of things. You just have to keep at it until you get something that can work. I'm happy with this one though. It's the one that made it into the story. It is in fact a panel art from the story. Some of it was created on Poser but in the end it was photoshop that saved the day! Hope you like.

This is excellent! You used Poser, but I'm relieved you relied on Photoshop in the end! This concept is fantastic! 
The contrast of darks and lights brings the creature's focal point into direct perspective. My eyes are instantly drawn towards it. I love dark background, because it adds to suspense, drama, and the overall horror that is being conveyed. I know I wouldn't want to run into this thing in a dark place (let alone a light one)
